Wall Tent and Canvas Tent Benefits
Posted by admin on October 29th, 2007 filed in GeneralMost people are quite familiar with the camping tents these days. In fact, I would bet that most people have even slept in a camping tent at least once in their life. Now when you think of your standard camping tent, you most likely picture a little dome tent made out of some sort of synthetic material. This type of tent is by far the most popular style of camping tent because they are cheap, easy to set up, light weight, and easily transported.
But what if there was something better out there? What if you could find a camping tent that didn’t have to be replaced every two years, a tent that provided more than enough space to move around in and even live in, a tent that is durable and will last for many years? In all of my searching, I have only found one style of tent that matches those requirements. That tent being a wall tent. These tents are large, some about as big as your bedroom at home. The great benefit about this feature is it gives you plenty of space to move around it, plenty of room for your gear, and enough head space to walk upright in.
These types of camping tents are also made out of canvas materials. This is why they are also referred to as canvas tents. Being made out of canvas has several benefits. It allows the tent to breath so that moisture doesn’t condensate on the roof of the tent, while at the same time trapping a great deal of heat within the tent. This material is also very durable, and will last at least ten years if it is taken care of.
In all of my camping years, I have yet to find a camping tent style with more features benefits than that of a canvas wall tent. Whenever I venture outdoors for a night or two, I always make sure that I’ve got my tent with me, providing me with a place to sleep, eat, live, and just relax.
